I needed to read that this morning, Jeff. I think my biggest problem might be in trying to go about the Christian life alone. It's hard enough trying to go about any kind of life alone, let alone the life in Christ. Other stuff sets in - false ideas that are temporarily more appealing, and before I know it, I am way off track. Anyway, my check still hasn't cleared. The money is sitting in limbo between the two accounts. I'm trying to get my rap together for the hotel owner so I don't get kicked out of here in a half-hour. I was sure it would clear at 6:30 this morning, and I couldn't get to sleep till 5am for anxiety. By four o'clock, I was reading alternative versions of the Creation 'myth' as well as material I later found was from the Church of Satan. My mind is my worst enemy, especially late at night. In any case, once I get the money, I'll send you that C.D. I'm going to call my own church family members now, before it becomes 11am. Maybe he'll let me work off the debt. Oh man - sharpen my iron anytime. bro.
